Accessorize!

My semi-new obsession: accessorizing! For the longest time, I did not clearly understand the concept of accessorizing. I thought you just put a bunch of stuff on and it was too time consuming for me to care. Wrong. You carefully pick items that will draw more attention to your outfit. I can be daring or conservative with it, depending on my mood. Now that I realize it is fun and not at all time consuming, I am mad that I did not partake sooner!

Some of my favorite ways to accessorize --

Bracelets

I love love love bracelets. Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to find bracelets I can wear because I have extremely small wrists. Luckily, every now and then I come across a few that don't go all the way up to my elbow (most of them still do though). Layering bracelets is a great way to make a statement. One of my favorite places to shop for bracelets is JustFab, because they have a variety, most of them are very cute (I only say most because there are a few that just simply do not match my taste), and the adjustable ones (like above) can usually fit my wrist fairly well. The one above I just received in the mail last week and I LOVE it.

Rings

Many of us have those certain pieces that we never ever take off. For example, I wear my Grandmother's ring every single day of my life...I literally never take it off (except occasionally to bake...and even then I usually leave it on). But I also love accessorizing with other rings. I just snatched up this adorbs zebra ring from Forever 21 and it is now officially my second favorite ring. Aside from the fact that I love zebras, who doesn't want to look down at an animal sitting on their finger!

Watches

Watches are so much fun. Functional, practical and about a billion to choose from. If you cannot find a watch (or ten) to fit your personality and/or every mood under the sun, you're crazy. I could buy a different watch for each week of the year, no problem. Of course, my favorite is Michael Kors (I wear the one above most days that I accessorize in silve), but I also own a couple from NY&C that I love too.

Scarves

Who doesn't love scarves? Yes, I know...the people who are unsure of how to wear them. But I promise, once you get over that little obstacle (I used this when I was learning) you will love them. My favorites have come from Fab (like the one above, which I wear more frequently than you would think possible), because they are usually fairly large and therefore can be worn a variety of ways.

There are plenty of ways to express yourself through accessories. So what are you waiting for? Give it a shot!
