You are never going to believe this...I didn't go shopping this week! I didn't even have anything delivered that I was waiting on from the week prior. I don't remember the last time that happened. Not going to lie, I am pretty impressed with myself right now.

I did, however, get a list going for items I would like to add to my collection this month. It is a work in progress, but after seeing what is trending now and fall fashion predictions (I consider everything a prediction until it actually happens...sorry, I can't help it) I know a few must-haves before my students get back at the end of the month [or shortly thereafter].


Denim Jacket


I have wanted a denim jacket for years now...even before they became a current trend. Trouble is that I have not been able to find one that I am 100% happy with the fit. I am completely open to suggestions. I have been eyeing the few above for a while now (AE, Tilly's, Guess).

Gray



I love black and white because it is so classic. What do you get when you mix the two together? Gray! This season, I am looking to stock up on gray and make it one of my new faves. I absolutely MUST HAVE gray skinny jeans (A&F), a want carried over from last year. I have been searching high and low for the perfect gray blazer (Topshop/Nordstrom) that I can wear to work and would still look amazing with jeans...def on the lookout! Finally, I keep finding myself thinking "why don't I have gray shoes?" (Steve Madden/Famous Footwear) when I am getting ready in the morning. Why not get them?

Maybe it shouldn't be a work in progress. The whole reason I have no new purchases this week is because I have a bunch of little trips coming up that I am conserving money for. If this list is a work in progress, there is no way I will succeed in this goal. Oh dear. Decisions, decisions.
