Remember that time I said I wasn't going to shop? Yeah right. You didn't believe me, did you? I think I believed it for a hot second...and then reality set in. I started going through withdrawal...and then I did the stupidest thing ever. I went to the mall. I made up some stupid excuse of this one thing I was looking for. I don't even remember what the one thing was, but I know I didn't leave with it. Here is what I did leave with though...


JCP:



I was at least semi-disciplined and put back literally half of everything I wanted. I got the two shirts (Allen B Split-back tank & JCP 3/4 sleeve voile) & pants (Joe Fresh blue cropped denim leggings) above, as well as a pair of brown wedges that I was unable to locate online. JCP is having amazing sales right now so if you are looking for a few cute additions to your wardrobe without spending a small fortune, definitely head right over there!

Charlotte Russe:


I had zero intention of even entering Charlotte after the damage I did at JCP, but they were having their $5 cami sale and I was in desperate need. I was disciplined and only picked up four camis (two black, one white, and a yellow). But while waiting for checkout I saw a scarf that a friend would absolutely love so I picked that up too. I am not posting it so she doesn't see it before it is given to her, sorry! I can say that they have a ton of cute scarves right now so you should def go check them out.

I still have a lengthy wish list and I probably always will. However, I am still trying to take it easy for all of the trips I have coming up in September-November. It hasn't been easy, but I have made progress -- I usually purchase WAY more or a big ticket item (though I did buy a tv this weekend, but only because the one I had died). Progress is good...even if it is slow.
