October in Review

As I have mentioned several times before, October is one of my favorite months. I am soooo sad it is over, but happy for the memories. My month in review...

1. Stitches & Lady got a new travel apartment so they can go on vacation and have "safe space" in a hotel room. They LOVED it when they tried it out at home.
2. On a trip home I was oh so happy to have an order of bacon cheese fries at one of my favorite restaurants. As long as I don't think about the calories and just focus on their deliciousness...they're amazing.
3. I am obsessed with Wawa Lemonade Tea. I buy at least a gallon and a half every time I go home. I hate being so far away from Wawa.
4. Pumpkins!
5. I went to Canandaigua for a murder mystery, but stopped in at Nolan's for dinner. I ordered fried pickles, one of my faves, and they were delivered to my table in a wine glass. Classy and delicious.
6. Lady held my hand one night while I was using the computer. Soooo sweet.
7. My suitcase for the professional conference I went to in October. Mind you, all of this was for three days and two nights. Yeah...I am an overpacker.
8. A shot of the mancave that was my hotel room at the conference. I seriously felt like I was going to be murdered by a lumberjack in my sleep. Never again.
9. The first sign of snow in the forecast. Luckily, I left the conference before the snow made it there.
10. The beautiful fireplace at the spa.
11. A rare morning in which I had the gym to myself -- score!
12. The aftermath of one of my most recent shopping sprees. Three pair of tights, two scarves, two cardigans, a pair of fleece lined leggings, a pullover sweater, and a leather jacket. Basically, I am a leather jacket.
13. My whiteboard with messages to my students. Happy Halloween!
14. My Halloween costume -- I was a bat!
15. Some of my students & I at the library enjoying the preschool trick-or-treaters coming through.
16. Halloween candy! All of it was gone by the end of the night and I had less trick-or-treaters than usual.

Hope you all had a wonderful October!
