As I finished yesterday's post, I could not help but feel like it was missing something. After dwelling on it for hours at work to the point I thought I was going to go mad, it dawned on me. I did not even touch on the closet! Everyone's closet needs a little TLC to get ready for Spring also, does it not?

Let's check out some of the must-have pieces for Spring this year (while you still have time to add them to your wardrobe)...

Stripes


Stripes were a huge part of my winter wardrobe and it does not look like that is about to change for Spring. It appears that we should essentially stock up on anything striped -- like this skirt from Loft or these flats from Express.

Slits

I am not really sure how I feel about this one, but slits are in. Get used to seeing pieces like this maxi skirt from Forever 21 & this pencil skirt from ASOS.

Cropped Boyfriend Jeans



We are getting used to seeing boyfriends jeans now & that is a good thing, because they will be sticking around in cropped form for Spring. I may have to add a pair of these to my wardrobe...like these ones from Levi's or Michael Kors.

Baseball Hat


I am so pumped for this trend! I may not be a hat person, but I love a good baseball cap. Check out these cuties from Target & Sole Society.

Block Heels


I would be lying if I said I was not excited for this. I try to not to hoard out-of-style fashion, but I definitely hung onto a few of my block heels because they were my absolute favorite! Check out these beauties from Hunter & Forever 21.

I assure you that there are more up-and-coming trends and I am sure we will continue to uncover them together.
