Another month bites the dust, folks! I cannot believe that a whole three months out of the year has passed already. I swear, the years go by faster and faster. But as you know, a new month means a new style challenge.

I absolutely love style challenges. Seriously, more than I even know how to express. I hate getting caught up in the monotony of getting ready and always wearing the same pieces over and over again. My closet and drawers are always overflowing and it seem shameful to waste so many potential outfit options by not stepping out of the norm. The purpose of these types of challenges for me is to utilize more of my wardrobe. I hope the challenge helps you as much as it has helped me!


1. Pinch of pastel. Easter is right around the corner so don't put away those pastels just yet!
2. Delicate. Wear something light & delicate. It could be lace, a dainty piece of jewelry or even something vintage.
3. Prep in your step. That's right, time to get preptastic!
4. Comfy shoes. Dress up or down, just make sure your feet are happy.
5. Nail it. Brag on the manis! Nails not done? Don't worry, mine probably won't be either. Wear an outfit that you feel powerful in -- like you could accomplish anything.
6. All about the base. It is finally Opening Day! Support your favorite baseball team (go Phillies!) or just build your outfit around a simple (or loud, if you prefer) base piece.
7. Mellow yellow. We can always use a little more sunshine here in the mid-Atlantic. Let's make it feel welcome with a bit of yellow.
8. Flower power. Time to rock the floral.
9. Critter love. I am an avid animal lover. Wear something animal today -- I will be decided between animal print, owl jewelry or cat scarves I am sure.
10. School spirit. Show some spirit for your alma mater.
11. Get graphic. Let me so those graphic tees/sweaters/hoodies.
12. Mocs & socks. I feel like it is always cold here and I may regret this later, but I just want to be comfy cozy in my mocs and socks.
13. Manic Monday. We all need a freebie -- do whatever you gotta do to make it through Monday -- whether it be a go-so staple piece or something off the wall that you haven't worn before.
14. Blue skies. Show me those beautiful blue hues.
15. Bright & bold. Seriously, break out the brights if you haven't already! After a long cold winter and a slow-to-warm spring, let's warm things up ourselves.
16. Show me your skinnies. Wear whatever strikes your fancy, just make sure you pair with some skinny jeans.
17. Dress it up. Wear your favorite dress or skirt. Not into them? Dress up one of your more casual pieces for a change.
18. Something new. Dig deep into your closets and drawers (maybe not so deep for my fellow shopaholic) & pull out something that still has tags on it.
19. Buttoned up. I don't know about you, but sometimes I just buy pieces because they have cute buttons. So, I want to see buttons today.
20. Pattern play. Everyone knows I love a little pattern mixing.
21. Purple rain. Channel your inner Prince (or Donny Osmond, in my case) and rock out in purple today.
22. Heart of gold. Shine bright in gold today.
23. Aztec princess. Tribal prints aren't just for the cold months...let's see 'em!
24. Class b&w. It will never get more classic than black and white.
25. Double denim. Double up on denim today. Whether you're pairing a denim shirt with color denim skinnies or doing denim on denim today...just keep it classy. We don't need any Britney/Justin repeats.
26. R&R outfit. We all need some rest & relaxation sometime. Show me what helps you relax.
27. Literary inspiration. Wear something inspired by a favorite book or character from a book. Yeah, I know...this one is tough.
28. Peaches & cream. Because coral & off-white look fab together. I mean, really...no question.
29. Crown jewels. Bling it up!
30. Mini or maxi. Break out those skirts & dresses. Mini or maxi...it's your choice!
