Happy hump day! I have off on Friday so I am happy to announce that tomorrow is my last day of work for the week. I guess it is not really an announcement, but exciting nonetheless. I wanted to go over some of the things I am absolutely loving this Spring. None of them are over-the-top crazy, brand spanking new, or anything like that...just some pieces I would probably die without. Ok, that may be an exaggeration...but not buy much.
Bucket Bags. I am seriously obsessed with them. I have purchased two so far and have at least two more on my wish list. The one above is def on my must have list -- it is Steve Madden & you can find it at Macy's (currently on sale for $59.99).
Funky Glasses. Glasses are my new obsession. I have worn them for several years, due to my inability to get over how disgusting touching my own eye is, but I have never really liked (or disliked them). They just are what they are. Glasses are always so expensive so I generally have to go the practical route. However, I was introduced to an amazing glasses website, by someone awesome and now that I can channel my personality I am totally into it. You can grab the funky ones above for just $15.95 at Zenni Optical.
Mint skinnies. These are not new or extra fancy, and I have had them for years...but I love them. And this Spring, I love them more than usual. I feel like when I bought them, they were one of those impractical purchases. Now, I keep imagining more and more outfits in my head utilizing them. If you don't have a pair yet, you can snag these at Saks of Fifth on sale for $54.99 (you can get an extra 40% off right now using the code FRIENDS).
Hooded Trench. I think I would actually die without my hooded trench. Ok, not really...but I would be very unhappy. It was seriously one of my best purchases. It is light enough that I won't sweat when it finally warms up (if it ever does), but substantial enough that it keeps me warm without excessive layers. And did I mention it has a hood!?!? I never understood raincoats without a hood. Silly. If you want to be trench twins, the Calvin Klein one pictured above is $79.99 at Boscov's.
Hunter Boots. Ok, so these are not just a Spring love. These are a year-round love. I actually wore these yesterday, as I watched the snow falling outside. Yes, the day before April it was snowing. And unfortunately, Mother Nature was not fooling around. Anyway, they are great for all weather. I know they can be a bit of an investment, but I promise you won't regret it. I got mine from Nordstrom; they are $148 online, but sometimes they have different sales in the stores (mine were 20% off when I got them in the store).
Floral. I was ecstatic last year when floral prints made a comeback. I don't know what it is about all of the blooming patterns, but I love love love them! I stocked up on quite a bit of them last year and then added a few more to my collection so far this year. If you are looking for a cute floral add, head to Target for this adorable floral skirt for $29.99.
What are your favorite things this Spring? I'd love to hear from you!
