It has been way too hot this week...like the sun is burning my skin right off. So, my color of the month is papaya orange.
Outfits
I think orange is a hard color to build into a wardrobe. Surprisingly, it used to be one of my favorite colors so I know it can be done...but not easily. Bows & Sequins looks fabulous pairing orange with gingham. My Small Wardrobe is looking retro chic in her orange skirt. Lovely By Lucy went bold in her neutrals with a pop of color. All three of these ladies look awesome!
Paint It Orange
It takes a certain kind of person to go so bright and bold in their own home, but it can look amazing if you take the plunge. The images on the right side looks gorgeous with papaya paint on the walls. Not able to go quite that bold? Paint the back of your bookshelves. Or keep it simple and start by painting some of your accessories.
Furniture
If wall color is way too much for you, add a pop of color using you furniture. While I wouldn't jump right in and get an orange futon, but I am in love with the idea of orange buffet tables and dressers.
First Impressions
I love doors, especially ones that are bright and bold. I normally only like orange and black around Halloween, but when it comes to front doors...drool. Love it!
What is your favorite take on papaya orange?
