Herbalife Week Three

My Herbalife journey continues and I cannot express how much better I feel since beginning these products. First of all, I have so much more confidence that I can do this. After months and months of eating terribly, exercising infrequently, feeling down and not having the energy to do anything about it, I am finally starting to feel like myself again.

I am feeling more energetic. Don't get me wrong, I still have my lazy days but now they are because I want them (not just because I was in a slump). I feel lighter. I know that sounds weird, but it's true. I have been bogged down by bloating for so long now that I forgot what it felt like to just feel normal. Most importantly, I feel like I might actually be able to achieve my wellness goals; something I have not experienced in several years (when I dropped 20lbs quick about four years ago and it obviously came back...it took three years, but it came back nonetheless).

Anyway, I am excited for this progress. As I am typing this particular paragraph, it is only day one. So I am eagerly anticipated seeing how this week plays out and definitely what happens at weigh-in on Saturday. I update this post daily and it will go live most likely at some point on Saturday.

WEEK THREE

Day 14: Sunday 3/13
Breakfast: Cookies & Cream Meal Replacement Bar
Lunch: Blueberry Muffin Mug Cake
Snack: Spicy Chipotle BBQ grilled chicken bites
Dinner: Shredded Chicken Burrito
Snack: Cherry Cheesecake yogurt

Calories Consumed: 1140 / Calories Burned: 33 / 93 calories UNDER goal
Comments: I still cannot get over how much I love those meal replacement bars. Cookies & Cream is my least favorite F1 flavor so I was hesitant to even try them, but I am so glad I did! It was the perfect solution to my "oh no, I don't have time to make breakfast" moment this morning.

Day 15: Monday 3/14
Breakfast: Cafe Latte shake
Lunch: Cookies & Cream express meal bar
Snack: Cheese stick, chipotle cheese stick & a Balanced Break (I'm an oinker)
Dinner: Steak & sweet potato
Snack: Cheese stick and Lemon meringue yogurt

Calories Consumed: 1300 / Calories Burned: 170 / 70 calories UNDER goal
Comments: Just another day, really. I was super hungry today but it was probably because I started off the day in a really bad mood.

Day 16: Tuesday 3/15
Breakfast: Blueberry Muffin Mug Cake
Lunch: Chai Tea Latte Shake
Snack: Chipotle Cheddar Cheese Stick & Balanced Break
Dinner: BBQ chicken, garlic cauliflower & sweet white corn
Snack: Cheese stick

Calories Consumed: 1307 / Calories Burned: 212 / 105 calories UNDER goal
Comments: My dinner was SO good tonight that I couldn't get over. I pressure cooked boneless chicken breasts with some bbq sauce and oh my goodness, it was heaven. Everything I ate today was great -- all of my faves.

Day 17: Wednesday 3/16
Breakfast: Chocolate Shake
Lunch: Cookies & Cream Express Meal Bar
Snack: P3 portable protein snack & chipotle cheddar cheese stick
Dinner: Mushroom cheese omlette and home fries
Snack: String cheese

Calories Consumed: 1507 / Calories Burned: 109 / 198 Calories OVER goal (whomp whomp)
Comments: Yeah, I know. I should have skipped the home fries with dinner. But you know what? I wanted them...and they were good. I will just have to run a little extra another day to make up for it.

Day 18: Thursday 3/17
Breakfast: Mocha Latte Shake
Lunch: Lemon F1 Pie
Snack: Balanced Breaks & Lemon Meringue yogurt
Dinner: BLT Wrap
Snack: Lemon Meringue yogurt (yes another one...it's my fave)

Calories Consumed: 1280 / Calories Burned: 225 / 145 calories UNDER goal (look, I've almost made up for yesterday)
Comments: I made my first lemon F1 pie last night and I am officially obsessed. When I made the Cookies & Cream one I was less than impressed, but the lemon has far surpassed my expectations. Love love LOVE IT! I seriously want to eat it every day.

Day 19: Friday 3/18
Breakfast: Cafe Latte Shake
Lunch: Lemon F1 Pie
Snack: Sargento Balanced Breaks
Dinner: Protein Spaghetti & Meatballs
Snack: Lemon Meringue yogurt

Calories Consumed: 1128 / Calories Burned: 72 / 144 calories UNDER goal
Comments: Today was horrible. I was so sick all day long and it took everything I had to even make it to work, let alone through the whole day. I managed to stick to the program even through my upset stomach, nausea, and all sorts of ill feeling. Big pat on the back for me.

Day 20: Saturday 3/19
I refuse to even talk about today. I was out of town and while I started out the day with the best of intentions and an Express Meal Bar, it quickly went downhill from there. I hate to admit it, but I almost DOUBLED my calorie allotment for the day...thank you, Red Robin. No more eating out for me.

I should also not that I did not weigh-in this morning. This is probably TMI, but my lovely Aunt Flo decided to visit yesterday so it would be an inaccurate reading and therefore completely pointless. So, until next week I am just going to continue to focus on my eight pound loss in two weeks. Hopefully that number continues to grow over the next week (though I will admit after my ridiculously unhealthy day, I have my doubts).

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
