Sooooo....my name is Amanda and I am a shopaholic. I haven't had a blackout shopping experience in a while, but that winning streak came to an abrupt end last night. I signed up to work the Christopher & Banks Friends and Family event and that is usually the beginning of my shopaholic downfalls.
Christopher & Banks
I had a couple of things set aside at the store, but as usual I added more to my pile by the end of the event. I am all about tropical prints right now so they basically ruled my purchases yesterday. I have been drooling over the Palm Leaf Shell (bottom left) since it first hit the website and immediately put it on hold. But one tropical print simply is not enough...am I right!? So, I grabbed the Floral Tropics Printed Tee (top left) as well. I kept on the floral trend, with an added hint of pattern play by picking up the Graphic Floral Printed Top (middle left). It had just came in the day before and I immediately loved it once I saw it. Next to it I saw the most beautiful light purple cardigan so naturally I just bought it. Lastly, I couldn't walk out with only tops. I had tried on a super comfortable pair of ankle pants the last time I was in the store, but was unhappy with the length. I like to actually see a little bit of my ankles when wearing ankle pants. I had a stroke of genius and decided to try on the same pants in Petite and guess what -- they fit PERFECTLY! Petite Bengaline Ankle Pants for the win!
Payless
I should have just left the mall. I really should have, but as you can assume...I did not. I went down to Payless in search of espadrilles. Much to my surprise, I found not only one, but two pair that were exactly what I was looking for. I tried on the White Eyelet Espadrille first, quickly followed by Black Canvas Espadrilles. It was BOGO, after all. Again, I should have just left at this point, but again I stupidly stayed and fell in love with an adorable pair of floral slingbacks. And of course since it was BOGO, I had to pick out a fourth pair. My gold shoes are in such bad shape, I figured it would be best to replace them; the fact that Christian Siriano is designing for payless right now just sealed the deal for me.
KMart
Last stop, I swear! I ran in Kmart because I needed socks of all things. I didn't end up leaving with socks because I am an idiot, but I did leave with a supercute pair of Suede Booties. It is a miracle that I only walked out with one item, even if it was not the one thing I went in for.
Has anyone else experienced a shopaholic blackout recently? If so, advice for where to store five new pair of shoes would be greatly appreciated.
