Wellness Wednesday: Essential Nutrients

Herbalife is so much more than "one of those shake programs." We spent the last several weeks focusing on Formula 1 and it's endless possibilities because it is the foundation of Herbalife's weight-management products. However, the rest of the core line is vital to giving your body the essential nutrients it needs to help you lose weight and gain energy.

As I have talked about previously, the core product is all about cellular nutrition -- nourishing your cells with the best nutrients, supporting your immune system (to fight off stress, toxins, etc), and maximizing your energy. Your Formula 1 Healthy Meal (shake mix) is going to count as a healthy, simple & yummy meal replacement. We spent the last several weeks talking about the possibilities for using F1; if you missed them you can read more about it HERE, HERE, HERE & HERE. Formula 2 Multivitamin contains 21 micronutrients, to promote healthy bones, skin and hair. Formula 3 Cell Activation promotes normal mitochondrial function. Translation: these products want you firing on all cylinders.

Today I want to focus on the Formula 2 Multivitamin. The reality is that we should all be taking a daily multivitamin (regardless of whether it is part of this program or not). In order to complete the variety of tasks that are given to us on any given day, our body requires a multitude of essential nutrients. If our body is deficient in any of these nutrients, the metabolic pathway that produces optimum efficiency will breakdown. Translation: Our bodies will force us to feel low-energy, have low focus and perform at a minimal rate. Enter the multivitamin.

The Formula 2 Multivitamin is formulated to nourish your body and support metabolic function at the cellular level. It contains 21 essential micronutrients, including antioxidant Vitamins A, C, and E to support your immune system, as well as folic acid, calcium and iron. Translation: It can boost your immune system to combat low-energy, illness and fatigue.

I take this three times per day, one with each meal, and have had nothing but positive experiences with it thus far. While I cannot prove it is directly linked to the multivitamin, since I began taking it I have not had any significant illnesses (outside of those related to seasonal allergies).
