When I first began #WellnessWednesday posts I spent several weeks talking to you about Formula One, the foundation of Herbalife's weight-management products. Quick refresher: it provides you with up to 21 essential vitamins and minerals, on top of added protein and fiber, to provide you with a well-balanced meal that is quick, easy and health conscious.
I want to take a minute and just share all of the amazing flavors available in F1. I think a lot of people believe it is just chocolate, vanilla and coffee...but that is SO not the case. While cafe latte is my favorite, there are ten additional flavors (including two varieties of vanilla -- what!?!). I have tried all of them with the exception of Dulce de Leche (though it is next on my list), Mixed Berry (because I generally add frozen fruit to vanilla to achieve this) and Pina Colada (because, well...yuck). I can honestly say that I enjoy each flavor equally, especially when I have the flexibility of mixing them together (you would be surprised how well cafe latte and cookies & cream taste together).
The number one complaint I hear is "I can't do shakes all of the time." Heck, I said it myself (still do sometimes). Guess what -- you don't have to! Formula 1 can be used to make a variety of foods including mug cake, pie, pancakes, protein balls, and more. So as the day progresses and lunchtime rolls around, I try to mix it up. If I had a shake that morning, I rarely take a shake for lunch too because I am easily bored by it. I often will take a Express Meal Bar, pie, or usually once per week I count lunch as my "normal meal" simply so I can treat myself to lunch at the cafe. Because really, I hear you, and I don't want to/can't/won't do shakes all of the time either!
