Wellness Wednesday: Rebuild Muscles

Today for Wellness Wednesday I want to talk about muscles. Not necessarily just building them, but helping to recover them after a tough workout. Who has left the gym and felt stiff and sore by the time you got home? It is kind of a great feeling, right? It is like you can really feel how good your workout was. For me, that feeling of accomplishment is quickly followed by fear of whether I am going to be too sore to do what I need to do at work the next day. Shove those fears aside, because I have a solution for you.

Who has stood in the vitamin store staring at a handful of post-workout repair products wondering "seriously, all of these?" There are so many things that go into a recovery shake to make it effective and you never really think about it until you are staring at all of the products separately.

Rebuild Strength is a protein-rich recovery supplement formulated to support lean muscle mass. Translation: it is going to help you build muscle & tone. It contains both whey protein (quick-release) and casein protein (slow release, for a total of 24g of protein), glutamine, and branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) to create a rapid and sustained muscle building state. Each serving contains 3g of L-glutamine and 4g of leucine, valine & isoleucine, which are crucial for helping to jumpstart muscle recovery. Unlike most recovery drinks Rebuild Strength contains a modest and precise amount of carbs, as research has show that it is important to consume protein in the presence of carbohydrates to support lean muscle mass.

I know that was a lot to take in, so let me summarize in the simplest possible way --

I was shocked the first time I used the product. I had a killer workout at the gym -- I did everything I set out to do and felt really good about it. I immediately went home & made a rebuild shake (as it should be consumed once per day within 30 minutes of exercise). The next day, I wasn't sore -- it was a miracle! The only potential downside that I could see is that it only comes in chocolate flavor. However, it basically tastes like chocolate milk so if you like that you won't have a problem with this.

Questions? Feel free to reach out and if I don't have the answer, I will find someone who does. If you are struggling at the gym, not seeing the results you think you should -- give it a shot! Click any of the images above and it will take you to the website where you can order OR reach out to me & I can walk you through it.
