I spent the day yesterday indulging in a little retail therapy. While I did not suffer from any shopaholic blackouts, I did find some really great pieces that I cannot wait to try out. One of the main goals of my shopping trip was to head to Christopher & Banks and plan out my must haves for the Friends & Family sale next week.
The Friends & Family Sale is one of my absolute favorite events at C&B because the deals cannot be beat! Everything in the store is going to be 40-50% off from Monday, October 17th through Monday, October 24th and they have some really great fall and winter pieces right now. There is an Exclusive Open House on Saturday, October 22nd from 11am-2pm where the stores will feature local community food and beauty vendors to add a little extra excitement to the event. Unfortunately, I am unable to make it on Saturday, but I will be at my local C&B at Arnot Mall from 6-8pm on Friday night to hang out & talk fashion with all of you!
These are my most wanted items in the store right now. I have always loved the cutesy Christmas shirts and sweaters so I was literally jumping up and down when I saw this adorable penguin printed tee. The item I am most excited about right now is the Cable Sleeve Cardigan -- I am obsessed with this shade of gray and all of the speckles within. And let's face it...I am the cardigan queen! Speaking of which, I have checked a couple of stores for the Angled Hooded Cardigan because I am in love with the colors, the hemlines...everything! No luck yet, but if I am unable to track it down before the weekend, I will definitely be ordering it online because I cannot imagine not getting my hands on this little beauty.
I also have the above accessories stowed away in the hold closet at my local C&B right now. I snatched up the Metallic Rose Wrap the second I saw it. The photo truly does not do it justice because it is seriously stunning in person. I do realize I am not in need of one scarf, let alone two, but I could not pass up on the shades of green, blue and purple in the confetti scarf. Lastly, the snowflake slippers just because. You can never have too many slippers!
