April is finally here!! I am looking forward to enjoying warmer weather and all of the wonderful things that come with Springtime -- rain, birds, greenery. Let's ease our way into it though, shall we?
Monday, April 3rd: The Americans
I absolutely adore this show. It is so fascinating to learn more about this point in history that I previously knew very little about. I am also loving all of the vintage fashions that are coming back into style. I have always liked Keri Russell, but she has gone above and beyond all expectations in her role as Elizabeth. Not to mention, her body is perfect in every single way so she is ROCKING all of these great looks.
Tuesday, April 4th: Baseball Tee
This prompt can be approached in two different ways -- by repping your team (top photos) or wearing a simple baseball tee (bottom photos). Whatever works for you works for me!
Wednesday, April 5th: Dainty & Delicate
This is one of my favorite prompts, but I do not use it frequently enough. When I first started incorporating this prompt in DSC I was thinking dainty and delicate jewelry, but it is so much bigger than that now. You can, of course, go with a dainty necklace (top left), but you could also go with a dainty pattern instead (top right). One of the ways I prefer to interpret this prompt is by adding a delicate print or dainty texture (bottom photos) to my outfit.
Thursday, April 6th: Plaid-itude
Plaid is not just for fall and winter -- you can wear it year-round! Put together a Spring plaid look today.
Friday, April 7th: Lady in Red
Everyone has red in their wardrobe, right? I think a lot of times it gets pushed aside when it could easily move to the forefront of our wardrobe on a regular basis. Lighter red (bottom right), dark red (left photos), a lot of red (top left) or a little (top right). Break out that red today, in whatever way you see fit!
