It seems that the rage over pineapples is sticking around for another summer and I, for one, am super excited about it! I have rounded up some of my fave pineapple items for you and much to my surprise, I only own four of them right now.
Accessories:
I could have put about ten pieces of jewelry on here because pineapple pieces a dime a dozen, but I chose this one because I am currently waiting for it to appear in my mailbox. The best part? It is under $5 from GroopDealz.
I have a handful of pineapple bags from last year, but unfortunately they are no longer available. I did, however, find two that I absolutely adore. The amazing clutch from Lulus is $29 or if you prefer a larger bag, Forever 21 has a Pineapple Duffle for $27.90.
I got the absolutely cutest pineapple scarf from Christopher & Banks this year, but it is no longer listed online. I do know that it is still available in stores so if you have one, head out on a search for it (it's mint, has tassels and perfect). I did find a fantastic substitute -- the coral pineapple scarf from Charming Charlie for $15 (usually their scarves are 2/$20). While I was browsing their website, I also found a fab pineapple cap for $15.
Apparel:
So so so many options for pineapple pieces! Lets start with tops. Nothing says summer to me like a slub tank and the one above is on sale for under $8 from Old Navy right now. I immediately fell in love with the $8 vneck from Target (I already have this one). If you love that print, it is also available in a cardigan for $22.99. You cannot tell from the photo, but the back of the navy pineapple blouse is pleated and fan-freaking-tastic. Snag this beauty from Christopher & Banks for $34.95 (note: all of their tops are buy one get one for $10 today). Last top, the super simple embroidered top from JCrew for $34.50.
Moving on to dresses. Shift dresses are all the rage right now so that was the main reason for my choosing the $40 dress from Asos. I adore it, but was only able to find it in petite so it is a no-go for me. To help out my fellow tall gals, I found the cold shoulder dress in tall (also from Asos) for $35. But if I am being honest, the flounce dress from Kmart for $12 is my fave.
I had a hard time finding bottoms that I like, but those adorable pineapple shorts from Old Navy is currently on sale for less than $13 so I had to share them. Lastly, I am obsessed with the high-waist/high-neck swimsuit from Target, especially because both pieces are under $40.
What do you think -- what are your fave pieces? Did you find any that I missed? I would love to know about them!
