I know it has been a while since I have been on a regular posting schedule and even longer since I popped in for a bit of inspiration. All I can do is apologize and hope to get back into the swing of things soon. Truth be told, I have been feeling pretty unmotivated about most everything these days. But enough about all of that, let's dive into this weeks prompts!


Monday, August 7th: Bauble or Druzy


Go with a bauble/statement necklace or a simple yet elegant druzy necklace instead. One of the simplest prompts, but I have such a hard time picking a side! Are you Team Bauble or Team Druzy?

Tuesday, August 8th: Tribal Vibes


I hope tribal prints never go out of style because they are SO.MUCH.FUN!!! Show off one of your favorite tribal styles today. Mine are obviously 97% shorts :-P

Wednesday, August 9th: Ocean Inspired


I adore ocean-inspired looks so I could not resist incorporating it into August's style challenge. Think boats (top left, bottom right), fish (bottom left), seashells (top right), blues (all of them), or whatever reminds you of sun, salt and sand.

Thursday, August 10th: Slip 'n Slide

When I came up with the idea to have Thursday Boardwalk Fun, I wanted to use to it incorporate items that I don't typically think of. For slip 'n slide, I originally thought of slides (shoes). While I don't own any, I though any slip on shoe would do. Then slip dresses came to mind. So anything goes, I suppose!

Friday, August 11th: Splash of Lemon


Today is essentially all about yellow. If you are lucky enough to own any of those cute lemon print items (like my scarf, bottom right), knock yourself out! The rest of us will be opting for a pop of yellow in our outfits today, in whatever shade strikes our fancy.
