I am mindblown that we are about to move into a new year...already! I have to say, though, I am so very grateful. This year has not been a positive one for me and I am hopeful that with a new year comes new and exciting opportunities. In the meantime, let's take a look at the prompts for the coming month.


That's right folks, the calendar style is back! I tried going the "traditional" route again and it just was not for me. As a crazy planner girl, I am much more comfortable with anything resembling a calendar. It took me a couple of months to work out the specs so that it was actually legible and here we are.

The daily themes are as follows:

Monday 1/1: Navy & Forest Green. A classic winter color combination.
Tuesday 1/2: Buffalo Plaid Beauty. Not just any plaid will do today -- it must be buffalo plaid! It is one of the best after all (along with tartan, swoon).
Wednesday 1/3: Dreaming of Dusters. Because at this time of year, when we are all freezing our tatas off, who isn't dreaming of a long & cozy top layer to wrap up in.
Thursday 1/4: Out with the Old Navy. That's right, but out those Old Navy pieces ladies!
Friday 1/5: Pantone Ultra Violet. Embrace the new Pantone Color of the Year. It is gorgeous!
Saturday 1/6: Zipped Up or Hooded. Keep it low key in a quarter zip or a hoodie today.
Sunday 1/7: Happy New Necklace. Were you lucky enough to get a little bling over the holiday season? Show off a new necklace today.
Monday 1/8: Arctic Blue & Beige. A soft and beautiful combination.
Tuesday 1/9: Double the Dots. Because one set of dots simply is not enough!
Wednesday 1/10: Toasty Turtleneck. Cover up that pretty little neck of yours in a turtleneck...your scarves need a break!
Thursday 1/11: In with the New York & Company. Dress it up a bit of New York & Company today.
Friday 1/12: Cozy Fireside Tones. Warm it up by mixing up some neutrals.
Saturday 1/13: Sneakers or Slip Ons. Keep those feet comfy cozy this weekend in sneakers or slip ons.
Sunday 1/14: Studs or Beads. Show off your fave stud earrings or beaded necklace strands.
Monday 1/15: Teal & Lilac. Not a common combination, but a fun one nonetheless.
Tuesday 1/16: Fair Isle Frenzy. Winter is the best time to indulge in a bit of fair isle, after all.
Wednesday 1/17: Slightly Scarf Obsessed. At least I know I am!
Thursday 1/18: Right On Target. Where are my Target ladies at!? Break out those fun finds today.
Friday 1/19: Pinch of Pastel. Keep your outfit light and softly colored.
Saturday 1/20: Lounging in Leggings. The comfiest way to lounge.
Sunday 1/21: Artistic Arm Candy. Dress up your arms with unique bracelets or pieces with a story.
Monday 1/22: Olive & Brown. A new take on woodland chic.
Tuesday 1/23: Perfect in Plaid. I did not want to limit your monthly plaid to buffalo, so opening up the options on this day.
Wednesday 1/24: Best in a Vest. Everything is better with a vest, so add in that top layer.
Thursday 1/25: On the Express Train. I am always on the Express train. Rock your fave Express pieces with me today!
Friday 1/26: Cool Winter Blues. Blend into the background with those winter blues.
Saturday 1/27: Totally Trendy Tunic. Well, they are everywhere. Might as well embrace it.
Sunday 1/28: Watch Out. Show off your watch today.
Monday 1/29: Wine & Camel. One of my favorite combinations this time of year. Not off the wall, but not overdone either.
Tuesday 1/30: Darling Damask. A pattern I adore, but simply do not wear enough of.
Wednesday 1/31: Cardigan Queen. Like moi.
