Four-day work weeks are always the worst for me. They just draaaaag on! Though it was nice only having four days for the first week of the semester. Let's take a look at the prompts for this week...


Monday 1/22: Olive & Brown

Yet another combination I have not tried. I wish I had olive pants because I would pair them with an off-white sweater, brown boots & gold jewelry.

Tuesday 1/23: Perfect in Plaid


Newsflash: I love some plaid. I admit that I was late to the plaid game, but am so glad that it has hung around for this long. Any plaid will do, whether a traditional button down (bottom right), shirt (top left), cardi (bottom left), pullover (top right), vest, scarf, whatever speaks to you!

Wednesday 1/24: Best in a Vest


I have a slight vest obsessions, so much so that I had to cut myself off because storage was becoming an issue. Join me in vest wearing today!

Thursday 1/25: On the Express Train

I shopped at Express all the time when I lived near one, but now that the closest one is two hours away from me I am limited to dress pants. I can buy those online since they run pretty standard, but the rest of their sizing can be all over the place.

Friday 1/26: Cool Winter Blues


I don't know about you, but the winter blues hit me after the below-zero temperatures and haven't left since. Throwing that into my wardrobe and focusing on blue pieces. It doesn't have to be all blue, feel free to throw in pops of color to brighten it up!
