#LLBwardroberemix is back for it's second month! Let's recap, since it is still pretty new. Each month I am going to give you 40 prompts, broken down into 8 categories. You can do any prompt, from any category, on any day you want. This challenge works around your schedule, while still providing a hint of inspiration. There is no big buildup of suspense like last month -- let's dive right into this months prompts.
Berry Beautiful. Berry is one of the most gorgeous colors, but it takes it to a whole new level of beauty this time of year.
Mint to Be. There is no better time of year to indulge in a little pastel.
Plum Crazy. Everyone looks great in purple. So go ahead, go plum crazy!
Ravishing in Red. Go bold with a pop of red at some point this month.
You Make Me Blush. Lighten up your color scheme with a hint of blush tones.
Jewelry
Charmed to Meet You. I don't know if charm bracelets are even a thing anymore, but I have a drawer full of Pandora that I only wear a couple times per year so let's go with it.
Bewitched by Baubles. I love a great statement necklace, don't you?
Darling Druzy. Druzy pieces are hands down my fave jewelry pieces.
Passionate in Pearls. Rock your favorite set of pearls.
Put A Ring On It. It doesn't have to be an engagement ring, of course. Just adorn your hands with some beautiful rings and show them off!
Layers
Beloved Beanie. I am not a huge beanie girl, but with the weather we've been having lately...even I may participate.
Cuddly Cashmere. Again, with the weather. I wear cashmere gloves frequently (if you don't have a pair, I highly recommend them), but I love a great cashmere sweater too (+ let's be real, I'm broke -- it's cashmere blend for me). Either way, let's stay warm & cozy in cashmere.
Date with a Duster. Sorry for the repeat prompt, I just cannot get enough of dusters. I literally smack myself every time I think of my favorite one from the last time they were in style. Of all the stupid things I keep, why not that one!?
Smitten with Scarves. We all are, aren't we? Blanket, infinity, wrap, pashmina...it doesn't matter. Just speaking for myself here, but I love them all!
Weak in the Kneesocks. I know, I know, I am a 95 year old freak on the inside...but I love a great pair of kneesocks. I have dozens of my Grandmother's old argyle kneesocks from ages ago and they are fantastic.
Pattern
Crushing on Camo. Anyone who knows me knows I am not a huge fan of camo. I loved fashion camo back in the 90s, but now I live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by people who wear Realtree every day and I am just not digging it. None the less, I have enjoyed watching all of YOU rock some amazing camo looks. & who knows, maybe I will be inspired.
Let Love Bloom. Florals are a year-round pattern nowadays. Am I right?
Mad for Plaid. I really am mad for plaid. Especially in the winter. Swoon.
Pattern Play Date. I am a sucker for a good pattern play. Stripes and leopard or plaid and dots are my two go-tos.
Swoon for Stripes. While I rarely swoon for stripes, it is a fun pattern to play with...especially in the season of hearts.
Pick & Choose
Cardi or Pullover. It's cardi for me, hands down. Where my pullover girls at?
Gifted or Thrifted. I don't thrift enough...anyone else? It will be a gift for me. Holding out on this one until after my birthday.
Ruffles or Scallops. This is a TOUGH ONE. But, I feel like ruffles are more winter and scallops are more summer...at least of the pieces I own. If you have winter scallops, I must know about them -- please tell me!
Sheer or Silk. Another toughy. I don't by silk often, but it's gorgeous. Sheer on the other hand, I may buy too much of.
Shift or Swing Dress. I love them both. SO much. I'd layer them if I could. Are you Team Shift or Team Swing?
Specific Style
Collared Cutie. Show me those button downs!
Heart on My Sleeve. Sleeves of any description will do for this prompt. I will be rocking my heart elbow patches.
Ring My Bell. Give me ALL the bell sleeves.
Skirting Around. Mini, Midi, Maxi...Pencil, Bubble, Pleated...whatever your heart desires.
When Hearts A-Line. Let's see those a-line skirts & dresses.
Valentine Inspired
Bouquet from Beau. That's right, one floral prompt simply was not enough.
Champagne Toast. Because neutrals never go out of style.
Queen of Hearts. My favorite shape ♥
Wild About You. Animal prints, animals, any outfit pic with your significant other. Play this how you want.
Wine is My Valentine. There has never been a truer statement. 😆Let's see those deep reds.
Wildlife
Be My Meowentine. 😻
Little Lovebirds. 🐦
Owl Always Love You. I have a slight obsession with owls (for those of you who haven't seen my office). I know everyone doesn't share in it, but I feel like a lot of people have owl jewelry. If not, wear a piece you have always and will continue to love until it falls apart.
Woof You Be Mine? 🐶
You're Such a Deer. If you are not an antler clothing addict like myself, wear something that a dear friend bought you (or let you borrow). Think of it as gifted or thrifted, take two.
How are you liking this new setup so far? I had a lot of positive feedback when I first posted, but I am interested in how you feel about it now that we are a month in. I have been enjoying it. I feel like I had the freedom and flexibility to participate in additional challenges -- I could choose a prompt from here to match prompts elsewhere. And on days I just wasn't feeling the challenge world, I just picked one of this list and went with it. Easy, peasy!
As we move into a new month, remember to keep using the #LLBwardroberemix hashtag. I have loved seeing how you all took January's prompts and made them your own. I can't wait to see what you do with this month. BTW, can you tell Valentine's Day is my fave holiday? 😻😂🙈
