Winter Must Haves

It has been quite some time since I posted anything other than a style/wardrobe challenge. Since I had a bit of time on my hands (winter break), I thought I would put together a Winter Must Haves list. I love doing these and there are so many things I am crushing on right now.

Split-back Turtleneck Sweater (link: Abercrombie), $58. Abercrombie basically tailored made this sweater for me. I mean, not really, but they did take two of my favorite things -- split-back tops + turtlenecks -- and combined them into one. So, yeah.

Spanx Ponte Crop Flare Pants (link: Nordstrom), $110. While I am not the biggest fan of ponte pants, I am mildly obsessed with the kick flare trend right now. I literally hated it when it first popped into my world a few months ago; I don't know what happened but I freaking love it now. Note: I am far too broke to spend $110 on pants so I will just be dreaming about these while searching for a cheaper alternative.

Dolce Vita Raven Mule (link: DSW), $79.99. I love mules, I love block heels, so this one is a no-brainer for me. Plus I love the rebel vibe of these combined with the kick flare.

Genevieve Shoulder Bag (link: Melie Bianco), $110. I have wanted a Melie Bianco bag for over a year now, maybe longer. I love them all, seriously. So classy!

Plaid Scarf (link: Zara), $35.90. Because I haven't swooned over a Zara scarf this much in a minute. Because I love the neutral colors. Because one can never have too many plaid scarves.

Rose Gold Heart Hoop Earrings (link: Etsy), $30. Anyone else basically a teenager inside with this years trends? Well that's me all the time...waiting to relive my favorite fashion moments from years past. I never got over the heart thing -- I love them on my clothes, jewelry, hell...I even still doodle them.

Double Strap Apple Watch Band (link: Amazon), $22.99. I thought these had come and gone, but then I saw a boatload of people wearing them while xmas shopping and now I want one all over again. I mean, I never got one the first time around and while I highly doubt it will work on my child-size wrist, I still want to try it out.

This is  a bit more toned down that my usual list, but it really speaks to the pieces I am digging right now. Dress pants that aren't boring, structured yet fun wear-to-work styles, earrings, shoes with a heel, pops of pattern, simple colorways. It's interesting how our style focuses change from year-to-year, or even season-to-season. Can't wait to see what's to come for Spring!
