Anyone who knows me is well aware of my obsession with exposed brick. I love it. I think every building should have at least one exposed brick wall. It is funny, really...considering how much I hate brick on exteriors. Brick interiors though...holy class & character!
In my internet stalking, I have noticed more and more painted brick popping up all over the place. I have always disliked painted brick because I feel it takes away from its natural beauty. This is one of those topics that people generally feel very strongly -- either they love it or hate it. It is the great brick debate!

I still stand strongly by natural is much more beautiful (in my opinion, of course), but I have to admit...I do not hate painted as much as I once did. Check out these beauties (images linked)...
This gray is to die for. It matches the cabinets AND allows the dining pieces to stand out on their own while still making a statement itself. Absolutely beautiful.

Umm...can you say sexy? I am at a loss for words.
But I still think natural exposed brick takes the cake...
This is breathtaking. I would never leave my living room...ever.
I could soak in the bath all day with that kind of view (and I'm not talking about out the window).
So what do you think -- painted or all natural?
