It is with much excitement and disbelief that I bring to you Decembers #LLBwardroberemix & #DECliblooks! Christmas is definitely not my thing, but I am all about my festive wardrobe. I seriously cannot wait to dive into these challenges! Like we discussed last month, I am doing both challenges to appeal to those of you who want a more laid back approach that you use only when you need it (#LLBwardroberemix) AND those of you who crave the structure of a traditional style challenge (#DECliblooks). Do whatever works for you, even if that varies by day.
Need something more structured? This is where #DECliblooks comes in...
The daily themes are as follows:
Sunday Layers
Color My Monday
Sweet Treat Tuesday
Specific Item Wednesday
Patterned Thursday
Wild Friday
Saturday Bling
Sun. 12/1: Festive Faux Fur. I am sort of over the faux fur thing, but I enjoy seeing other people pull it off effortlessly.
Mon. 12/2: Sugar Plum Pinks. I feel like pink get's left behind in November & December. Let's change that!
Tue. 12/3: Gingerbread Neutral. Keep your colorway neutral today.
Wed. 12/4: Fancy Tree Skirt. Show off those legs in a fun & fancy skirt.
Thu. 12/5: Perfect Poinsettia. Basically, any floral print will do. But I am hoping for a lot of poinsettias!
Fri. 12/6: All the Reindeer Games. Let me see all of your reindeer, ladies! Sweaters, tights, antler headbands...all of it!
Sat. 12/7: Jingle Bell Jewels. Those noisy pieces. You know what I am talking about.
Sun. 12/8: Blanket Scarf Season. Bust out a cozy blanket scarf to keep you nice and toasty today.
Mon. 12/9: Evergreen Tree. I may be allergic, but they sure are beautiful to look at. Oh, and that shade of green... *swoon*
Tue. 12/10: Candy Cane Lane. Red & white, stripes, just take a photo holding a candy cane...however you want to play this works for me.
Wed. 12/11: Ugly Holiday Sweater. Nowadays they are more cute than ugly, but I am ok with that too!
Thu. 12/12: Simply Ornamental. Time to get fancy!
Fri. 12/13: A Very Meowy Catmas. Do your kitties love Christmas as much as mind do? They basically plant themselves under the tree from the minute it goes up until the minute it comes down, only moving to eat and use the litterbox.
Sat. 12/14: Deck Your Neck. You are the Christmas tree today, darlings.
Sun. 12/15: Sheer Stocking Stuffers. They don't have to be sheer, but stockings are a requirement.
Mon. 12/16: Holly & Ivy. Aaaaaallllllllllll the red & green.
Tue. 12/17: Peppermint Mocha. Let's be real, this means brown which isn't overly exciting. But, it is my favorite winter treat so...
Wed. 12/18: Oh, Holey Night! Destructed jeans, making an appearance. Feel free to layer tights if it's too chilly.
Thu. 12/19: Merry Print Mixing. You can never have too much print mixing. Just kidding, you can. But it is more fun at the holidays. I enjoy layering reindeer and other winter critters wit plaid so I am PUMPED!
Fri. 12/20: North Pole Penguin. Do penguins make a noise? *insert potential penguin noise here* You can do black and white or penguin prints if you have them.
Sat. 12/21: Elf Worthy Earrings. Big earrings for (not-so) big elf ears.
Sun. 12/22: Fleece Navidad. Stay cozy in a comfy fleece today.
Mon. 12/23: Winter White. Team Wear White Year-Round!
Tue. 12/24: Sugar Cookies. More neutrals, so you don't get burnt out on all things festive before the big day.
Wed. 12/25: Merry & Bright. It could be bright, or it could just be merry. Or if you are up for the challenge, both!
Thu. 12/26: Frosty Fair Isle. My absolute fave in Dec & Jan!
Fri. 12/27: Polar Express. Bc polar bears are cute. Go find a shirt or something with one on it. Love them!
Sat. 12/28: Tinsel & Tassels. I'm seeing lots of tassel necklaces on this day.
Sun. 12/29: Baby, It's Cold Outside. Or at least I assume it will be, considering it's almost January at this point.
Mon. 12/30: Hohoho, Pour the Merlot! Santa is tired from holiday-ing.
Tue. 12/31: Midnight Toast. Let's see those gorgeous NYE looks!
Truth be told, I still don't know where I stand with style challenges for 2020. Let me know how you are feeling about these to help inform my decision. & as always, remember to use the hashtags so I can see you outfit creations!
