Another Saturday has come and gone and you know what that means? That's right, I went shopping. What can I say? I have an illness. I am an admitted shopaholic.
It has been probably close to a year since I have made the trip to one of my favorite malls...Eastview. It may not compare to KOP, but it is much better than the options I have close by. Unfortunately, I arrived much later than I would have liked so I did not end up going to all of my favorite stores. I ended up skipping White House Black Market, Arden B, Athropologie, Banana Republic AND JCrew. There was no amount of Starbucks that would have kept me awake on the 2.5hr ride home if I would have kept going, so I basically skipped that entire side of the mall. I did, however, visit AE, A&F, Forever 21, JCP, NY&C, Naartjie, and Pandora. This is my newly acquired stash...
Much to my surprise, I struck out at AE and A&F (though I did just make on online order from A&F a few days ago). I walked away with only one shirt from Forever 21 (the pink one -- similar)...I don't know if that has ever happened before. Similarly, I only purchased one item at JCP. I am extremely excited though because I have wanted to make this purchase for a while...white shorts (here)! I made out the best at NY&C, as usual. It was there I grabbed the pink floral shorts (dif color), blue stripe tank (no longer online), and the scarf halter (here). I also have this new habit where everytime I go shopping I pick up an outfit for my cousins daughter (the most adorable baby in the world, IMO). I had never heard of Naartjie before so I went in and picked up a cute summer outfit (here & here).
If you haven't already heard, Pandora is running an excellent promotion this week. If you spend $100 (not difficult to do there), you get a free bracelet. So, I purchased the bangle bracelet that my Mom likes and two charms (here & here) for her. Annnndd since my bracelet is almost full, I picked up the gray leather bracelet free for myself!
I DO NOT want to look at my receipts to see how much I have spent and I have already cut myself off until next paycheck. As such, next shopaholic Saturday you will be hearing about my online ordering that I am still waiting to be delivered.
