My birthday is right around the corner and so is my favorite holiday...Valentine's Day! Yes, I know how weird that is. Especially for me, Miss-I-Don't-Need-No-Man. But I love hearts, pink/red/purple, candy and flowers so really, what's not to dig about this holiday. It is an excuse to put myself first each and every year. So I decided to take my favorite holiday and throw it into my Birthday Wish List this year.

It has been a long time since I have posted a must-have list. I am still working on my winter must-haves (though I fear it will be nearly Spring by the time I narrow it down), so I figured I would share the things I am hoping to snag for my bday. Admittedly, I will buy most of it myself 🙈 but hey, I have three weeks to do it!

It seems that the rage over pineapples is sticking around for another summer and I, for one, am super excited about it! I have rounded up some of my fave pineapple items for you and much to my surprise, I only own four of them right now.

I just got home from Christopher & Banks Spring Style Show and OH MY GOSH was it amazing! First of all, the whole store is on sale for 25% off and models in the show received 40% off so basically everything is a steal! I am in love with all of the Spring colors and patterns that I spent the morning with. I wanted so much more than what I actually ended up leaving with, but let's take a look at my haul --

We talked earlier in the month about how fur is here to stay for yet another winter season. I can hear the fur vests that I bought on clearance last year cheering from my closet upstairs, not only because they are still relevant but because this trend is so strong that they may begin to multiply. I have rounded up eight fantastic faux fur options, all under $50 each!

Well, as much as I hate to admit it...my birthday is about three weeks away. I am anti-birthday this year since this one ends in a zero, but I pretty much look for any excuse to shop. Considering my resolution to shop less this year, I am going to at least attempt to resist the urge. So basically...fingers crossed that my Mom sees this :P

While the temperatures may not have made it apparent, winter has been loitering for a couple months now. Moving into the new year with new colder temperatures for us East Coasters, the winter trends are just now beginning to get more and more hype. As usual, I think some of the designers hit the eggnog a little too hard when coming up with some of their so-called masterpieces. That said, I decided to round up some of my favorites that I will be partaking in until Spring decides to grace us with it's presence to share with you.

One of my absolute favorite pairings for the winter months are shorts and tights. In fact, I prefer shorts more in the winter than I do in the summer. Check out this stylish winterized look...

While I am not a huge fan of cold weather, winter is one of my favorite times of year in terms of fashion. I just love sweaters, scarves, outerwear and layering it all together. Thus far, the weather in PA has been rather uncooperative (FYI: the anticipated temperature on Christmas Eve day is 64*F) but I am hopeful that it will turn around over the next few weeks. With that in mind, this style steal is focusing on one of my favorite patterns of the winter season -- fair isle!

I am always looking for any excuse to add to my already ridiculous wardrobe, and a change of season is the best excuse out there. With winter looming, I have rounded up a few of my winter must haves for this year --

Black Friday is just a week away and I have been scouring the internet for ad leaks for the past couple of weeks. Huge shoutout to BFAds.net for their awesome-ness in this department. I do my best to finish up most of my Christmas shopping prior to Black Friday so I can be completely and totally selfish, taking full advantage of these deals for myself. One of Fall's biggest trends is ponchos. I hesitated bringing them up because I was not sure how I felt about them. After seeing them flood my Instagram feed for over a month now, I am starting to come around. While I am not a huge fan of all of them, there are some that I really like. We all know how much I love Fall fashion and while I practically live in six full months of winter where I am, I want to embrace it as much as I can. That said, I have also decided to mix it up a bit. For November & December, I want to try nixing the weekend prompts. We will see how it goes and what the response is like to see if we will continue it into the new year. I just realized the other day how long it has been since I posted a Style Steal. I don't know why, but it has not really crossed my mind. Which is sad considering how much I actually like doing them. So, there is no time like the present.

It is officially October and it is finally starting to feel like Fall. I am beyond excited to finally break out my boots and blanket scarves.
