Afternoon, folks! As I sit writing this, I am still pondering the same thing I have been since I woke up this morning -- why I am in such a foul mood? I could blame it on not getting enough sleep or it being Monday, but it really has very little to do with that. I am willing to bet that this little mood of mine has far more to do with my wanting more out of life.
I get in a funk like this from time to time and I always know it is coming. How, you ask? Oh, I go on a number of shopping binges...one right after another. Shopping is and has pretty much always been a coping mechanism for me. Seriously, I remember going to town at the school store in elementary school when I was having a bad day. Pretty sad, right? It could be worse.
Anyway, this isn't an emotionally deep post or a pity party. I am here to share some of my favorite inspirational go-tos, because no matter who you are, what you do or what ails you...everyone gets in a funk from time to time.
So when experiencing a mood similar to mine (or one that just isn't good/happy/content), I encourage you to remember 1) some things take time and 2) you are only confined by the walls you build yourself. These two statements can pretty much get you through anything. And, I believe in you -- because we all can do whatever we put our minds to.
Hang in there!
