I cannot believe it is already December...where did the year go!? I don't know about you, but I had a tiring month. I guess that means the holidays are just about here.
1. I was so unbelievable happy to take a trip up to Ithaca. While I enjoyed that it is actually a bit of civilization, I was most excited that they had an Insomnia Cookies. A little bit of the city, but a lot bit closer.
2. Look at my beautiful little baby girl. Such a pretty lady.
3. Mmmm, rabbit food. This was a delicious salad that I took to work one night for dinner. It was absolutely perfect.
4. My Mom bought me an amazing cupcake carrier shaped like a cupcake. It is fabulously amazing. And after months of my students requesting pumpkin cupcakes, I finally made them and transported them in my brand spanking new carrier.
5. This was a beautiful day I was able to experience while walking to work one day. Still a bit chilly, but wonderful nonetheless.
6. Happy National Scrapple Day! I celebrated it right, having breakfast for lunch before I went into work. It was delicious!
7. I just recently got back into eating raisins again. I have been trying to snack a little healthier and I forgot how much I actually like them.
8. I love fall and the beautiful leaves that come along with it, but I hate raking. Remember that day I wrote about having blisters on my hands? Yep, that was this day.
9. I love rainbow car washes. Just saying.
10. Who can say no to that face? This is what was staring back at me while I was trying to leave for work. My poor little Stitches...he didn't want me to go.
11. We built a book tree at work for the holidays. We usually put up a beast of a tree, but it is in pretty bad shape after years of abuse. We made smaller trees last year with amazing response, so we figured go big or go home. Mind you, the only way to get it this high was to climb the side of the tree. It was terrifying...but worth it.
12. Another angle of the book tree. They are difficult to see in both photos, but we added lights a few days later. They span sixty feet, through all six stories of the Atrium.
13. Another shot of the lights, looking up toward the ceiling.
14. I found Harriet the Spy sitting on an in house cart while on rounds. I was SO excited to see this book! I had not seen it in so long and I used to enjoy reading it so much when I was younger. I vaguely remember it being made into a movie, but I do not recall how I feel about it.
15. Ah, Michael Buble. You know I am having a bad day at work when you hear the sound of his angelic voice coming from my office. He is the only thing that kept me from popping off on everything my last day before Thanksgiving Break.
16. My inquisitive little man. He was sitting on the back of the couch watching television.
I put up the Christmas tree today so be expecting photos of that next month. Here is hoping for a smooth holiday season and a happy rest of the year!
