#1 Work Wardrobe Must Have

I know I do not usually make fashion posts on Mondays, but I have finally found the holy grail of work pieces and I just cannot keep it to myself! I have been seeing my fellow IG fashionistas wearing these little beauties for months now, but it took me a long time to come around to them. I have to say, I was a fool for waiting so long to get on board with this hot style trend. What am I talking, you ask? ANKLE PANTS!

My obsession began when one of my favorite stores and go-to spots for all things work wardrobe, Christopher & Banks, sent me a phenomenal pair of Signature Slimming Double Weave Ankle Pants to try. I have been so on the fence about them for so long that I was honestly terrified that I may not like them. It has always been the length that bothers me. I feel like I should be preparing for a flood--they are always just an inch or so too high or low on me (which I assume has to do with my height, because I hear so few complaints about it). Much to my surprise, this length is just right. And the shade of navy...LOVE! Seriously, a decent shade of navy is so difficult to find this season. The best part is that they are slimming. That said, keep in mind that they fit a little more snug so you may want to consider sizing up (I had to).

I wanted to give you all an idea of just how much you are going to be able to use these, so I put together a few looks of inspiration for you.

For the Office

I just love how great these are for work. They are super comfortable, but still super cute. Pair it with a statement top and a scarf or a blouse & a cardigan for an on-point work look.
Outfit #1: Crochet top (Christopher & Banks), floral scarf (Christopher & Banks) & huaraches (Boscovs)
Outfit #2: Ruffle blouse (Christopher & Banks, similar), Lime cardi (Target), Blue flats (Amazon, similar)
Outfit #3: Blue dot shell (Christopher & Banks), White cardi (Christopher & Banks), blue flats (Amazon, similar)

Transition from Day to Night

I just love how simple this outfit can transition from day to night. Loose the scarf and add a little bling--it is as simple as that!
Outfit #1: Crochet top (Christopher & Banks), huaraches (Boscovs)
Outfit #2: Red tank (Rue 21, similar), Striped Blazer (Christopher & Banks, similar), blue fats (Amazon, similar)
Outfit #3: Sequin tank (NY&C, similar), white blazer (NY&C, similar), blue flats (Target)

Dressed Down

Another win, they can be casual too! Pair it with Sperry's or cute sandals along with a comfy top and you are all set!
Outfit #1: Pineapple polo (Kmart), White denim jacket (Christopher & Banks), blue sandals (Old Navy)
Outfit #2: Multi-colored button down (Christopher & Banks), huaraches (Boscovs)
Outfit #3: Red tank (Rue 21, similar), lace camis (Christopher & Banks; Charlotte Russe, similar), Striped Blazer (Christopher & Banks, similar), Sperry's (Sperry)

Who would have thought one item can be so versatile? You can dress them up or down, wear them to work, transition to night...what more could a girl ask for!? If you do not head out and buy these right now, you are out of your mind. I promise, you will not regret it.

P.S. I just want to take a minute to state that I am a strong minded person who forms my own opinions about anything and everything (and isn't afraid to share them). That said, this is 100% my opinion and positive feelings toward this product. In fact, I have been talking about how much I love them so much that my Mom went out and bought a pair this past weekend...and she is quite possibly one of the pickiest people alive.
