It is the Christopher & Banks Fall for You Style Event. I spent my morning at my closest store being a model in the Style Show. I love doing this for a number of reasons: 1) I am obsessed with C&B, 2) I get to spend time with amazing people, and 3) I really miss working retail sometimes. Oh, and did I mention the 40% off discount for doing it? So basically, I walked around all morning in their clothes, helping wonderful women pick cute outfits to purchase and then purchased a ton of stuff at 40% off...score!
I wanted to share with you all of the items I picked up today, but some of them are sold out online. Here are the ones I could find...
Tops
First things first, I was beyond excited when I finally found the perfect maroon top. I have a bunch of these Satin Trim Tanks for layering, but this one in bing cherry is by far my favorite. I have been eyeing this crochet front shirt for months...seriously. I finally took the plunge today, purchasing the gray one (though it looks more like taupe to me). Who doesn't need a light gray cardigan? The Perfect Cardigan is just that...perfect! I was already done trying on all of my items when I just happen to catch this stunning Medallion Popover out of the corner of my eye and it was love at first sight. I did not purchases the exact open cardigan pictured, but it is very similar. I chose a stunning light pink option instead.
Bottoms & Outerwear
The item I am most excited about is the 5 Pocket Ponte Pant. These are by far the most comfortable skinnies I have ever worn. I actually worn them all morning at the style show. Love love love them! I am actually really excited about all three of these pieces. I have been seriously dreaming about the Core Denim Vest ever since I picked it out for the fashion show weeks ago. In case you were wondering, I wore it with the Crochet Front Tee pictured/mentioned above. I had zero intention of purchasing the Quilted Around Town Jacket today, but I adore the color and it is so difficult to find any Mediums in my store that I felt if I did not get the one and only that was there, I would never have the chance again.
Accessories
Of course I couldn't leave without hitting up the accessories. My Mom wore the Rhonda Long Black Tassel Necklace for the fashion show and I was so in love with it by the end that it was a no-brainer. I made the last minute decision to wear the Nora Long Seedbead Necklace during the fashion show and I just couldn't let it go at the end of the day. As for scarves...I always walk out of there with one. I had Perla Pleat Eternity Scarf & Peony Confetti Eternity Scarf on hold since I picked out my fashion show outfit a few weeks ago and I am so pumped to finally bring them home. The Perla scarf matches the satin trim tank & open cardigan I purchased perfectly. As for the confetti scarf, I picked up the perfect cardigan in pumpkin earlier this month and they look fantastic together. I saw the Sabella Pleated Shine Eternity Scarf while I was working at the fashion show and knew it was a must have.
I am so excited to wear all of these new items. If you have not seen the new arrivals...head on over to the website or your closest store. You will not be disappointed!
