Style Steal: Fair Isle

While I am not a huge fan of cold weather, winter is one of my favorite times of year in terms of fashion. I just love sweaters, scarves, outerwear and layering it all together. Thus far, the weather in PA has been rather uncooperative (FYI: the anticipated temperature on Christmas Eve day is 64*F) but I am hopeful that it will turn around over the next few weeks. With that in mind, this style steal is focusing on one of my favorite patterns of the winter season -- fair isle!

Jessica of Bows & Sequins just nailed this look, didn't she? I am so in love with this seriously perfect layered ensemble. As usual, I put together two looks -- one for my budget savvy divas that is more reasonable and the other for my brand snob splurgers that is at a higher price point.

I feel like this outfit is essentially made of staple pieces so you can likely recreate it with mostly pieces your already own. For me, I am lacking a bit in the fair isle department (weird, right!?), but I own all of the other pieces already so I would only need to purchase a sweater. Not too shabby!
