I seriously cannot even contain my excitement right now. We are officially one week out from my absolute favorite month of Delish Style Challenge. Why? Patriotic Week!! For those of you who don't know, each year I host a week-long mini challenge around Independence Day that focuses solely on patriotism. Red white & blue combos, stars, stripes, flag graphics...it's all fair game! Is any one else super excited for this? I hope so! Before I ramble any further, let's get right down to July's prompts...
Material Monday
4. Patriotic Week: Classic Cotton. We are starting off Patriotic Week with a classic American fabric, cotton! That's simple enough, right? Just be sure to incorporate some kind of patriotism in there too if you can.
11. Apple of My Eyelet. We are getting textured with some summery eyelet pieces today.
18. Lovely in Lace. Everyone really does look lovely in lace. Pop on one of your favorite lace items today.
25. Oh Hey, Chambray. Who else is cray for chambray? Whoa, I should have made that the prompt -- I love it!
Tuesday: Patterns
5. Patriotic Week: Hyped for Stripes. Get stripey today. Bonus if those stripes are red, white and/or blue (extra bonus if they're part of a flag). Woot!
12. Fruity Fun. Let's get fun & fruity with our patterns today. Cherry, lemon, lime, orange, bananas, PINEAPPLES...just have fun with it!!
19. Dots & Spots. Pick your fave (or do a little pattern play): polka dots or leopard spots. Oh, this will be fun!
26. Anchors Aweigh. Get nauti today by incorporating anchors into your OOTD.
Wing It Wednesday
6. Patriotic Week: Seeing Stars. We cannot have Patriotic Week without including stars! Star print, star jewelry or even star-inspired will work for today's prompt.
13. Scallop Hemline. Because they're better than plain-Jane straight hemlines.
20. Under the Sea. Sea creatures for the win! Or mermaids, if that's more your jam.
27. Oh So Strappy. Excess straps are all the rage this summer. Let's see those strappy little numbers today.
Thursday: Shoes
7. Patriotic Week: Firecracker Feet. 1) I want to see an AWESOME pair of shoes. 2) throw a bit of patriotism into your outfit somewhere. 3) I don't recommend wearing actual firecrackers unless you are a psychopath.
14. Tom, Bob or Chuck. Toms/Bobs & Chucks are hopefully one of your shoe choices today. Yay comfy feet!
21. Summer Sandals. Let's see your favorite summer sandals today.
28. Winning Wedges. Bust out those wedges today -- espadrilles, here I come!!
Colorful Fridays
1. Pink Lady. On Fridays we wear pink, because I do color on Fridays instead of Wednesdays. Not as cool, I know.

15. Gray Area. All gray, some gray, a mixture of black & white -- it is entirely up to you.
22. Citrus Hues. Channel your lemons & limes today.
