I feel like not a lot of people know this about me, but one of my guilty pleasures is holiday sweaters. I could seriously have an endless amount in my wardrobe and be ridiculously happy about it. For someone who hates Christmas, I am over the moon for these sweaters (and Christmas movies). The cornier, the better. Guilty as charged. To make matters worse, when I went out today, I ended up adding two more to my collection...and wanting several more. So, if you are in the market a good holiday sweater...this is the post for you.
I simply could not resist buying the above two sweaters. I fell in love with the absolutely adorable Penguin Pullover from C&B the moment I saw it. It is just SO cute! I actually purchased a penguin necklace from there a couple of weeks prior so it felt like I just HAD to have it to match. Nice justification, right? As for the classic Reindeer Sweater from ON, I purchased last year's version and loved it but after my 20lb weightloss this year it no longer fits so this is my replacement. [Speaking of which, stayed tuned to IG because I will be listing some holiday styles soon.]
I have been fighting the urge to continuously add holiday sweaters to my wardrobe on a regular basis, and Christopher & Banks hones the market on these little beauties. I have not been able to track down the Shine Tree Pullover to see in person yet, but I adore this shimmery sweater online. I love the simple sophistication of it. Similarly, the simplicity of the Holiday Studded Top is one of the main reasons I love it. It is very different from many others I have seen, but it is cute and somewhat understated. If you are looking for understated, the Let It Snow sweater is a great option also. Not to mention, it can act as a prime piece in your wardrobe past the holidays and throughout the winter. Lastly, I am so in love with the Reindeer Popover because, well, it's reindeer (and red)!
So, what do you think of these? Where are some of your favorites from?
If you are ever in the market for a holiday sweater but unable to find just what you are looking for, feel free to reach out! Chances are I have likely come across one similar.
