I am excited to move into a new style challenge. I had lot of cold, snow and crappy weather in March so I am hoping to actually get to enjoy some of my spring clothes in April. I am also looking forward to this particular month's prompts because National Library Week is the second week in April. To celebrate, the prompts are centered around popular banned books (because you can speak out against censorship any time of year). Let's dive right in --
TV Time Monday:
3. The Americans. There is no time like the present to take advantage of the many vintage styles that are trendy right now. I love the classic style of The Americans wardrobe so lets get our Russian spy on!
10. Gossip Girl. Hands down one of the most fashionable TV shows of all time. Time to get my Blair Waldorf on!
17. Pretty Little Liars. I swoon for the closets of these five women. I swoon over the styles I see on the show each week. Speaking of which, the show comes back on the 18th so this will get us in the spirit.
24. A Year in the Life. I have always loved Gilmore Girls fashion and A Year in the Life did not disappoint in that department. Looking forward to recreating some Rory styles!
Specific Item Tuesday:
4. Baseball Tee. Opening Day is here so let's celebrate with a baseball tee, either tradition or a team tee/jersey.
11. Beloved Bag. Show off one of your fave bags today.
18. Perfect Pixie Pants. If you do not already own a pair of ON Pixies, get your hands on a pair ASAP. Seriously, they are amazing.
25. Cardi Party. Because cardis layered on top of any outfit...the best.
Wing It Wednesday:
5. Dainty & Delicate. Whether you opt of dainty jewelry or delicate textures, keep it light and airy.
12. Party Like Gatsby. Everyone loves a little bit of bling or Gatsby-esque elegance.
19. Go to Great Lengths. Let's see those maxis and varying lengths today.
26. Geek Chic. Nerd it up!
Patterned Thursday:
6. Plaid-itude. Show off just how seasonless plaid is today.
13. Call of the Wild. Sure it's a book, but I am thinking animals/animal print.
20. Flirty in Floral. Get feminine and flirty in floral today.
27. Fine Lines. Big stripes, little stripes, mixed stripes...whatever your heart desires.
Colorful Friday:
7. Lady in Red. A little bit of red or a lot, any amount will do.
14. Shades of Grey. Keep it neutral in gray today.
21. Blue Skies Ahead. Blue is one of my absolute favorite colors because of how classic it is. Wear whatever shades you desire.
28. Peaches & Cream. Let's lighten things up a bit with a peach and cream combo.
