Style Challenge Inspiration

I am beyond ecstatic to moving into December for many reasons. For most, it is the holiday season. For me, it means the semester is winding down and winter break is right around the corner. Also, I just love cold-weather fashion so let's dive right into the challenge prompts for the coming work week.

Monday 12/4: Baby, it's cold outside!

Considering it is officially December, I was hoping for a bit cooler weather than what we are actually experiencing here in Northern PA. Don't get me wrong, I love that I am not freezing to death...it just isn't really on-point with today's prompt. So if it is not fifty degrees where you are today, snap a photo in your fave coat (top two photos) or pile on those layers (bottom photos)!

Tuesday 12/5: Sugar Cookies

This is a new prompt for me, inspired by the Cookie Contest taking place at work on this day. I will be wearing crazy leggings with sugar cookies all over them. If you do not have items printed with sugar cookies (or chocolate chip cookies or gingerbread men), go neutral today. Keep it light by mimicking shortbread & sugar cookies, or go darker like gingersnaps or brownies.

Wednesday 12/6: Poinsettia Perfection

If you have a poinsettia printed top, here is your chance to bust it out for the season! If not, take inspiration from the beautiful shades of poinsettias today. Sure, they are mostly red or white, but I saw a beautiful purple one at Giant the other day so there are certainly more possibilities than you would think.

Thursday 12/7: All that Shimmers

Time to bust out those metallic pieces that simply never get enough wear. I am not saying you need to wear a ball gown to work, but snazz it up a bit. Stand out and shine today, literally. Bling it up, ladies!

Friday 12/8: Ho, Ho, Ho! Pour the Merlot

This deep wine-ish red that is everywhere right now...I am obsessed with it. Seriously, I could buy a piece a week for life and never get sick of it!

Remember to use the #LibLooksStyleChallenge hashtag so I can see your fun outfits this week. I look forward to your take on these prompts!
